Support Our Community
- WHAT WE Do For Grandview
We help the Grandview, Missouri community through a variety of programs to support and uplift our neighbors.
Every day people who are hurting walk through the door of GAP. They may feel scared, ashamed, or desperate. Most have no where else to turn. The Grandview Assistance Program has been standing up for these families and individuals for over 25 years.
GAP provides emergency assistance with food, rent, utility payments, as well as help with the cost of medicine and glasses. We also provide families with grade-required school supplies at the beginning of the school year and holiday meals in November and December, and a Holiday Store with gifts and winter wear.
School supplies and teacher appreciation.
Health & Housing
Medical and emergency assistance.
Food pantry, holiday meals and the community garden.
We host a few events each year to help our supported programs.

Cultivate a community of care by offering support and instilling hope to our neighbors facing adversity.
Our vision is to initiate and implement a variety of programs and services which meet our clients’ immediate and long-range needs. We realize that this is possible only through the financial support and the volunteer services provided by the community.
Grandview Assistance Program is dedicated to the wise utilization of all funds provided. Currently, only 3.5 percent of funds donated goes to support the overhead of GAP, with all other funds going to support the mission of providing emergency assistance.
